What is a calling card?
A calling card is similar to a credit card but is issued through Clear Rate to allow the purchase of local and long distance minutes from virtually anywhere.
How do I sign up for a calling card?
To sign up for a calling card through Clear Rate, you can order here and fill in the number of cards you would like to have. Calling cards are also available by calling the Clear Rate Customer Care Department at 1-877-877-4799.
Is there a fee for having a calling card?
No. Clear Rate does not charge a fee for having or using the calling card. Only the usage charges are applied.
How is my calling card billed?
Calls made with a calling card will be itemized on your regular monthly bill.
Are the rates on my calling card the same as the rates from Clear Rate?
No, the calling card rate will be slightly higher than the regular calling rate that Clear Rate offers. Our standard calling card rate is 22 cents per minute.
How do I use my Clear Rate Communications Calling Card?
It is easy to use your Clear Rate Communications Calling Card. Please follow these Dialing Instructions:
1) Dial 1-866-61-CLEAR (1-866-612-5327).
2) At the prompt, enter or speak your card number.
3) At the tone, enter or speak the area code and number you wish to call or choose a menu option:
4) To place multiple calls, do not hang up! Press the # key for two seconds and wait for the tone, then enter the number you wish to call.
