Why did you join Clear Rate?
I joined Clear Rate because of the opportunity for professional growth and development. Originally hired as a Customer Care Representative, I excelled in my role and received multiple promotions within the Customer Care Department. Each role provided me with skill sets that were directly transferable to an HR role. In April of 2022, I was promoted to Human Resource Generalist in the HR Department.
What's your favorite part of your job?
Helping others has always come naturally to me and being in HR gives me an opportunity to influence the wellbeing and productivity of employees in the workplace and create a positive work culture.
Who inspires you and why?
Gary Vee (Vaynerchuck) inspires me because he is a forward thinker in business and often recognizes trends early to help others understand how shifts impact markets and consumer behavior. He also understands personal branding. This inspires me to me to keep current on HR trends and determine how Clear Rate can make changes that provide a better employee experience, champion our brand and keep Clear Rate a “Metro Detroit’s Best & Brightest” company.
How have you helped a customer?
While I was in the Customer Care department many customers gave Clear Rate "5 star" Google Reviews after interactions with me due to being very personable, having knowledge and understanding of their issues, and the ability to provide timely and effective resolutions.
What's one thing - industry-related or not - you learned in the last month?
Although I've been with the company for years, I was recently taken on a tour of our data center and was blown away by the technology and how highly secure the facilities are. Now, I better understand why our business customers would rely on Clear Rate for data storage and security.
Now tell us some fun facts about you? Your hobbies, interests etc.?
One of my hobbies is practicing and performing magic tricks. I also enjoy bike riding, kayaking, playing pool, putt putt golf, card/board games and gambling.
