FAQ - Simplified Bill

What has changed on my bill?

If you look at the "Taxes and Surcharges" section of your bill, you will see fewer line items as we've rolled them into the "Recurring
Charges" section under your monthly charge for your phone package.  


Why did this change?

To streamline your billing and make it easier to understand.  There was no reason to break these charges out.  Also, in most cases, it enabled us to save our customers a small amount every month.


Are there other benefits to the customers due to this change?

Yes, it also makes it easier to compare pricing to other technologies like Home Connect, Business Connect, Business Connect Pro or Voice over IP services because there are similar, streamlined taxes and surcharges.  Customers can focus their comparison on the "Recurring Charges" to determine their savings which can be very significant!


Now that I see how much I can save by switching to Home or Business Connect etc. how can I do that?

There are multiple ways to sign up:

1) Call the phone number below, follow the Billing prompt and select the Lower my bill option. 

2) email via the address below

3) complete a support ticket by clicking the tab on the right of this page.

 

Can I save money by switching from a paper bill to an emailed bill?

Yes, you can save $1.98 per month and you can sign via the same methods in the answer above.
